On a wii, how do you interact with other people?

i'm curious how you interact with other players. do you have to have a certain game? or. can you even play them? or. chat? or. what. i've got the wireless and everything. i'm just not sure what to do.On a wii, how do you interact with other people?
you can play against other players if the game supports online play. I only know of a few games that have online play right now and they're pokemon battle revolution, madden 08 and mario strikers. You then have to add each other's friend code so that you can play each other (when you're both online at the same time of course)



To communicate or ';chat'; with one another, you need wireless internet connection. To set it up, go to wii settings%26gt;Internet%26gt;Wireless Connection and search for your wireless network. Connect to it and it will perform a test connection. Once the test is finished, you're connected. Find other's wii console number (to find it, go to wii menu, click the envelope bottom right corner. Go to your address book located bottom left corner and there you will see your wii console number). Exchange this console number with others so that you guys can send messages to one another, as well as miis.
