i have been reading some of these questions and it seems that none of you are even getting close to what sociology is all about. It is the study of how people interact with each other and how we all effect the others. how belief systems are made, why we are like we are.



so, tell me why you are here, what is your purpose here, and why we should care the reason you are here.Do you guys even understand what sociology is?
Do you know how to write? Please capitalize the first letter of the first word in any sentence. Do not end a sentence with the verb ';is'; or a preposition. The word ';about'; is a preposition.



Also capitalize the pronoun ';I';.



So, tell me why are you asking such an arrogant question? What is your purpose in assuming ';that none of you are even getting close to what sociology is all about';? Why should anyone care about the reason you are here on Y! Answers insulting others?



Get over yourself. Take a course in grammar and writing.



The suffix ';logy'; means the scientific study of and the core word socio means simply society hence sociology is the scientific study of society.



Unless you have an advanced academic degree in sociology or social psychology you may want to ';get off your high horse'; and take a look at your own reasons for being here.

Yes, I took sociology when I was in 12th grade. I understood it perfectly and wanted to take it in college, but had to take other classes first.
