How do you introduce yourself to a stranger?

How do you small talk.. how do you interact with people who you don't know.



Male or female.How do you introduce yourself to a stranger?
I might listen in to what they've been talking about with someone else and then once I make eye contact, I might add my own comment. Then I just intro myself: Hi, I'm Brunehilde. I often extend my hand for a handshake as well.



I have the advantage of past experience working in a company where we frequently had visitors so that helped a LOT!How do you introduce yourself to a stranger?
it really aint that hard.

';i wonder how long til the bus comes?';

';hi, my name is............';

';want to share a kid?';

';i like your....... ';

blah just say something that makes the other person feel good or know that you are interested in what they have to say.
i don't to talk to stranger, i make the stranger talk to me or notice me, so that he will be the one to start talking.. and if i have to introduce my self to others, i make it simple, by just saying my name and the rest followed.. if the strangers answers, then that would be my opening to introduce more about my self.. but if he would just answer my questions and would not open up to me.. then, i will leave him, he is not worthy of my time
