How do I find out what's wrong with my grandchild?

He is over 2 years old and still doesn't crawl, speak, or interact with people. We've had so many tests run and have been shuttled from doctor to doctor. He's thin and small for his age. He does react to stimuli like laughing or crying when he's displeased. He's a beatiful child but it's like he's not totally present. Also, one eye looked like it 'wandered' when he was younger. And he seemed to dislike loud noises.

We're so frustrated wanting to find help for him.How do I find out what's wrong with my grandchild?
have you considered taking him to one of the Shriner's pediatric hospitals? How do I find out what's wrong with my grandchild?
sound like autistic to me. Many children have this sickness- autistism.
Get professional help.It could be down syndrome or something
You sound so frustrated and rightfully so. My darling granddaughter is severally allergic to most foods.

Finally, a Dr. at the Mayo Clinic has helped her. Northwest Airlines has a program that helps fly one parent and the sick child to the Mayo Clinic. There is a Ronald McDonald House, there too.

I would also visit the St. Jude's Hospital website. It sure sounds like celebral palsy with autism.

In the meantime, just show your grandson how much you love him by reading to him. It will help stimulate his brain and emanate your love.
