Do you have to learn social skills when you are growing up?

Do you think the ability to learn how to make friends and interact with people socially is something that you must learn when your growing up? If someone never learned to and are now an adult, do you think that they can learn how to make friends and more importantly keep the relationships going? Im just curious.

ThanksDo you have to learn social skills when you are growing up?
In life every thing is a learning process, the growing up kids learn from school, family, peer group and society, there wont be any systematic training or education about how develop good skills. Ultimately it always the role of parents matters much.Though they dont teach very systematically, but there will be always parental direction and involvement is there, and whenever it is necessary parents will advise their kids about how to go about it, or not to do this or do this way.

Regarding social behaviour and making friends -it is again it is the type of social setting one born in- in mean race, caste do matter in shaping the individual behaviour.

so many agencies play a key role in shaping the individual behaviour and one becomes a matured or properly educated is ultimately lies with the kid and family environment.
