How do you interact with other people?

I feel that, in America, it is impossible to share emotions with another human being. What has come of this country? Everyone has an agenda, and a small group of acquaintances. We are all competitors, so we shouldn't make any contact with each other. I have no friends. I spend all day listening to SOAD, Korn, and Slipknot. I can't focus on my schoolwork. I view pornography on a regular basis. I think that I have social phobia. I stay up all night and sleep during the day and miss classes. I don't want to die a premature death. I don't want to be sad. I can't understand why everything in this world is so unfair, it's all luck and randomness. What a sick joke life is.How do you interact with other people?
make a facebook and add ppl and talk to them its rly easy and fun or just go to a teen club and im sure some girl would dance with you. Just put teen clubs in google and put ur city and it should tell u alll the closest ones it'll help i swear and dont think its akward cuz its not get out there and have fun dont be a push over and cry all day go do it plus even if u do smthg akward at the club who gives a **** its not like anyone knows u there :)How do you interact with other people?
Having exchange students in my school I have personally witnessed a lot of this. A lot of the time the new comer tries to boast their skills and experiences with co-workers / students. They quickly became frustrating unfortunately. I find that we Canadians don鈥檛 enjoy bragging and usually only share stories if it has an element of humor. Try going out and being almost entirely selfless when the option arises. For instances a bunch of students mention going out for a drink, go out and have a few drinks and buy them a round they鈥檒l appreciate it. Just remember you don鈥檛 want to come across as intrusive. It a tough work and it takes a lot of social adapting but once you get the hang of it and have a start it鈥檒l be much smoother. Just remember to go out, be kind / generous and polite it鈥檒l help.
I have been through that myself. But let me tell you, you're not the only one. Most people suffer of this or have been through this at one point or another. You are a step ahead because you've realized it is happening, there are others you have realized why. It is NOT because of you.

Open up you eyes, there are people your age who are isolated or lonely too, and they are looking for friends. You need friends.

And you are so right life is a sick joke, but not because of life itself rather than the way we live it or have been forced to live it.

If you try to be a little more practical and at least sleep at night so you won't miss classes and study so you get at least passing grades that will at give you the opportunity to function in this world as the world would accept you, but also you will get the chance to do the things you want for yourself. The way you are dealing with it leads no where. You sound like a thinking person, not many people can do that, you know.
I have 50% of those thing in common with you. I dont ever think about death though.

Life is a ***** and in order to beat it you just dont have to care because like Rocky said, the thing that will hit you the hardest in life is LIFE. FU life!
You sound like you have an idea of how the world should work. Unfortunately, we were not given a plan from anyone, or a direction. We have simply made the best we could. It is true that this world we have made is far from perfect.

That being said, I understand your overwhelming frustration. I know you wrote this message trying to communicate your feelings. Perhaps it was a little crass, but it is how you felt, which is fine. I feel like I may be able to give you a tip or two if you would like to listen.

First, I am having trouble figuring out what you want. What is it that you are trying to achieve that you are unable to? Frustration appears when we are trying to do something, and other forces interfere. So obviously, you have something you are trying to gain, which I am unsure.

So when you can define what you are trying to gain, we can make steps in the right direction. We can start to map out a plan of how to obtain it. Now, obviously, some goals can be quite lofty. So I suggest that you make your goals as tangible as possible. It is sometimes pretty difficult to make this first step. You have to lay it all on the line and find out what you are really after so you can figure out how to get their.

If you do not have a good idea of what you are trying to achieve then it makes getting their impossible, which will lead to immense frustration. I know you are already frustrated enough.

Final notes: Avoid making a goal like this- ';I want to be happier.'; Instead make one like, ';I want to do things that I believe make one less depressed,'; for example. Make lists of things that you think people do that fall into this category, then figure out what steps you need to take.

That's the bottom line right there. It's a hard one to take in, but all changes start with you. I know it sucks that the world feels so sick and we must adjust ourselves to live in it. But Adaptation is a hallmark of humanity, is it not? I know you have the ability and power to see this through.
I have a problem too, is like yours but I lived in another world. Yes people are unfair but they again people are generally and idealistically evil. But you should stop and analyze things, if you were actually able to have a rally high point of view and see everything from above you would find out that things are not random, it is everyones decisions that shape the time line, and every decision we make affects those around the person. There are some decisions strong enough to actually have a big influence in existence. As yourself this questions

What makes you happy?

What angers you

Whose pain makes you cry

Whose success do you want to see

What do you love doing?

Right before I was about to give up, I found anime, and from there my whole world changed, now I draw and I feel so at peace. I found the joy of learning things, discovering new things, learning how to do things with my hands. Rockets, play doh, donuts

People are rotten and people suck. but it only happens because they forgot how to love and how to help. is a little hard to describe but if you are true to love you CAN affect them, ts the rule of equal trade.
