How can i train my puppy to stop peeing when she is excited?

she is a black Chihuahua. almost 4 months old. But her mother does it all the time so she doesn't get let out to interact with people much she just gets too excited. i don't want my dog to end up like that .How can i train my puppy to stop peeing when she is excited?
Socialization is great, if she is used to a situations then she will not be as excited.

But remember she still may do it from time to time. My grandmother had a well socialized Chihuahua that didn't do it often. But after I would come home from visiting my dad for the summer she got super excited and peed. How can i train my puppy to stop peeing when she is excited?
Socialize the puppy a lot.
socialize the pup!

take it to the park! or even better take her to a DOG PARK!!

GoodLuck!!

;-)
Okay take her to a park and play with her then whenever she pees when she gets excited hit it
I have a Westie who is a year old now, and she used to do it all the time. Every time a new person walked in the door, she would pee. What I've learned, is to not let the person walking in the door socialize with the dog until they've calmed down. This minimizes the chances of her peeing. Another good idea is to let the dog go to the bathroom before company is expected. My dog would pee every time she saw my fiance, but now that she is used to him, she doesn't pee anymore. It's called 'happy pee' and she should eventually grow out of it. Dogs must socialize, but should not be ignored from it. Socialization is key to their development, just let any other person or species. Those are the steps that I've used and they've worked. She's still young so I would patient with her and clean up the mess if she happens to pee. Make sure that she is calm and relieved before interaction. Over time, it will minimize.
